I think I am out of good excuses for not updating my homepage — my big graduate school application is done and the semester ended. This does not mean I am watching Sex and the City daily, though. I am working on my first paper, which is uber exciting! Then, next week (Jan 3rd), I will be flying to L.A. for the AAS meeting, which will be the third conference I am attending (and the second presentation to one) — yay! And after this I will be at Space Telescope Science Institute (Baltimore) for another week.
I took the General GRE in October and the Physics GRE in November. I got the scores for the General one on the spot, so I know those. The Physics scores were, I believe, mailed by the ETS about two weeks ago. I say “I believe”, because I didn’t check my mailbox yet. In fact, I had decided I don’t want to know my Physics GRE score. As I wrote above, my big grad school application was already submitted, so knowing the score will not help anyway — if it’s a bad one I’ll only know I won’t get admitted (which I don’t want to know), while if it’s a good one… well, then ‘hooray!’ for me. I don’t sound as someone who freaks out about the application, do I?!
All right, I will write another post before flying to L.A. (which will have some Python programming tips) and then I will (hopefully) update it while in the US, just to make the world jealous on me traveling a lot and spending one week in California.
