… or otherwise I can’t explain the ridiculously funny news I’ve read this week.
About two days ago, a cow, big fan of Steve McQueen’s The Great Escape, managed to trick the butchers and run away from the abattoir through a manhole. Trying to hide, which is not so easy if you are a cow (!), it followed its ’senses’ and plunged into the city’s sewage system. Unfortunately, it got stuck (probably dizzy from the smell) and, literally and figuratively, got into deep $hit when it was captured by a ‘rescue team’ an hour later and put down. Not a laughing cow anymore, huh?!
Today I was going through the news, reading about the US presidential race, when I saw a photo of John McCain’s wife, Cindy, with an arm in a sling. The caption went: “[...] She was treated for a ‘minor sprain’ after someone at a campaign event in Michigan shook her hand firmly.” Damn, it must have been Arnold Schwarzenegger under disguise…
